North Beach: A Picturesque and Popular Beach in South Haven
Nestled on the north side of South Haven, North Beach lies just north of the banks of the Black River. It is one of South Haven’s seven public beaches, and is one of the two most popular beaches in the city, with the other being South Beach.
At this beach, you and your guests can partake in sports such as swimming, kiteboarding, beach volleyball, and fishing. Additionally, North Beach is ADA accessible and has a fun playground, a pleasant pier, a charming picnic area, and convenient concessions available, as well as restrooms and a parking area. It’s an excellent place to plan a beach day and a great stop to make while on water trails like the Lake Michigan Water Trail Southwest or the Bangor to South Haven Heritage Water Trail.
