If your family is craving the familiarity of a classic beach house from yesteryear, the Ross House is for you! At 150 years old, this “grand old dame” prioritizes old-world craftsmanship and comfort. And there’s nothing missing from this backyard! Features here include a pool/hot tub, fire pit, lawn games like horseshoes and a basketball hoop and a garage game room with pool and ping pong tables. With 7 bedrooms and 4 baths, there’s plenty of room for the entire family to find their own space.
Living Spaces
As you walk up the front steps to a covered front porch complete with a wooden bench, you’ll feel like you’re home already. And it just gets better when you walk inside. The first of two side-by-side living rooms is furnished with a cozy sofa and two chairs, one of which is situated in a sunny alcove with stained glass windows, perfect for curling up with a good book. The large HDTV invites you to relax with a beverage and a snack while you stream your favorite new bingeable show. Either way, this welcoming space will surely become one of your favorites. The second living room is perfect for quiet conversation, set up with a sofa and two chairs facing each other. A great spot for planning your next day’s activities! And don’t forget the seasonal garage game room with pool and ping pong. Enjoy a friendly competition on days when the outdoor weather doesn’t quite cooperate. The first level of the Ross House features a primary suite with a beautiful queen sleigh bed, nightstand with lamp and seating area. The ensuite bath offers a walk-in shower. Another full bath with a clawfoot tub and shower is on the first level. The remaining 6 bedrooms are on the second level and share two full baths, both with walk-in showers.
Outdoor Spaces
Enjoy a lazy day at the pool and basking in the sun in one of the outdoor loungers. If the mood strikes later in the day, challenge a family member to a fun game of horseshoes or basketball. In the evenings, a warm soak in the hot tub will feel so wonderful, as you gaze at the starry night sky, perhaps with a glass of your favorite beverage in hand. Swimming pools are typically open from Memorial Day Weekend through September, weather depending. If you are inquiring for specific dates around the opening or closing dates of the swimming pool, please inquire with a reservationist for more information. During the peak season, this home would have a 7-night minimum and would rent Saturday - Saturday.
