Dyckman Park Beach

Planning a Trip to Dyckman Park
You can access the beach from sunrise to 10:00 pm and parking is $7.00. The best way to get to Dyckman is to take Hwy M-140 North to Broadway until Broadway turns into Dyckman Avenue. Unlike many other beaches in town, Dyckman Park does not have steep stairs to climb; there is an accessible ramp that leads down to the water.
Once you are at this nice beach in Michigan you will enjoy a fabulous view of America’s most oceanlike lake. You can just lay back on the beach or rent a paddleboard or kayak at any one of the many rental shops in South Haven. When you are on the water you will see many a finch and seagull as you paddle along. If you’d rather not do all that rowing, Lake Michigan has the perfect temperature for a nice refreshing dip. You can take a walk along the shore where you will find many colorful rocks and beach glass. Many people collect the glass to make into jewelry.
